Ipsy Glam Bag | Oct. 2019

Hello Friends!

Hope you are all having a wonderful fall season and enjoying the changing of the leaves and the pumpkin-everything πŸ˜€

This month’s Ipsy bag is definitely fall inspired with the colors and the skincare products.  If you want to get your very own Ipsy Glam Bag click HERE!!!

As you can see from the featured image, the bag this month is definitely different from their usual metallic hot pink to this soft pastel pink.  I’m guess this maybe because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, maybe?!  The bag is also very unique this month too featuring Betty Boop on one side and all-over sequins on the other, with a black zipper with a B-shaped pull.  I’m really impressed with this new bag and will be moving my things into it and popping it in my purse πŸ˜€

Now on to what’s in this pretty pretty bag!  The first item is MURAD Clarifying Cleanser.  This gel cleanser is “infused with 1.5% encapsulated salicylic acid to combat acne and breakouts immediately and over time.”  It also has green tea extracts to calm irritation and gentle enough for all skin types, including sensitive.  I’ve used previous Murad products but not the cleanser so curious to give this a go.

Next item is this PRETTY WOMAN Nail Polish in Don’t Be Jelly.  This raspberry plum shade is the perfect fall shade and I loved wearing it.  However, while it does claim to be “crack and chip-resistant” it did chip pretty fast on the following day, with my favorite Sache Vite top coat and everything.  I will be wearing it again though because it is just such a pretty shade.  The two pictures were in different lights to show the color a bit more.

The third item is the BETTY BOOP X IPSY Blink and Wink Mascara.  This month Ipsy collabed with Betty Boop brand for the bag design and a few makeup pieces.  This mascara is said to be lash-lengthening, giving them a dramatic lift while separating and defining, and not smudging or flaking.  I love me a good long-wearing mascara that truly does not smudge or flake because I’m not the touch-up type so I would be very happy to see this hold up to its claim!  Now this collection is limited-edition and you can buy it separately on the Ipsy site.

Next is my favorite item to see and get…CROWN BRUSH CB202 Pro Chisel Fluff & Precision Crease Brush.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…you can never have enough makeup brushes to change through, especially when you are super busy to wash them on a regular basis LOL!  This double-ended brush has both “fluffy and pointy tips, so you can apply shadows all over, blend into your crease, and add dimensions with one multitasking tool.”

And last (which are becoming my favorite looked-for items πŸ˜€ ) is ESSENHERB Tea Tree Sheet Mask & Canola Honey Sheet Mask.  With this upcoming cold weather I can use all the hydration and soothing I can get to keep my skin looking good.  The Tea Tree Mask absorbs excess oil and soothes irritated skin, while the Canola Honey Mask keeps your complexion nourished and hydrated.

So I like this box despite very minimal makeup products this month.  With cleansers I like to use them outside my regular skin care routine, mainly in the shower so I’m looking forward to using the cleanser the most out of all the products in this box.

So what did you guys this of this month’s box?  Any favorite items that you’ve use and loved?

Until next time friends…XO!
