Hello Friends! Can you believe it’s already the end of August and it’s going to be fall soon?! BUT before August says good-bye for the year, of course I gotta post my Ipsy Glam Bag PLUS (I have been dealing with work and health issues so I wasn’t able to get it done sooner š¦ ).

So as we know, the Ipsy Glam Bag PLUS comes with 5 picks of products either in deluxe size or complete full size. The first item in this month’s box is the FINDING FERDINAND Lip Stick in Nob Hill Red. I’m not much of a red-lip wearer but this color is pretty chic. It looks like it has blue under-tones which would make your teeth appear whiter. The lipstick tube has a pop-in-and-out feature so it won’t uncap and smear all over your bag or pocket š The retail value of this lipstick is $30 USD.
Next item in the box was the TARTE Dream Big Eyeshadow Palette. If you like neutral eyeshadow palettes and eye looks these set of colors are a great combination. The palette features a mix of matte and metallic shades for a day or nigh look. I was, however, not too thrilled with the formula as it was a bit patchy and clumpy when I swatched it on my arm. I do have other TARTE palettes I’m happy with so not sure if I just didn’t do a good job with the swatches or the formula is really not that great (I did try to use the shadows, and while there were no clumping using the brush it was patchy a bit). If you have this palette I’d love to hear from you if you experienced the same or love it! This palette retails for $30 USD.
The next product in the box is the F.A.R.A.H BRUSHES Show Me Magic Eye Brush Set. This 5-piece brush set has all the brushes to create an on-the-go look – perfect to go with the TARTE palette above. The bristles feel like good quality and the handles are clear blue and yellow-tipped. This set is also 100% vegan and cruelty-free. The brush set retail for $50 USD.
The next box item was this SMITH & CULT Nail Lacquer in Pillow Pie. This soft-pink color is my go-to color year-round. As you can see in my swatch pic of my nails (complete with my dried out cuticles LOL) the color is a milky-pink and very on-trend to go with any skin tone. It DID take a few coats to build though…although I’m not sure if that’s the formula or because it’s such a light color that it needs a few coats of the shade to get it to become totally opaque (if you saw my post of the regular August box, the nail color in that was completely opaque with just one coat). This polish is 8-free (no harmful chemicals) and is cruelty, paraben, and phthalate-free. Even though the handle may look bulky it has divots and dips to allow for a comfort grip, but it can always be removed and instead use the smaller top underneath for a more precise application. This polish retails for $18 USD.
Y’all know it wouldn’t be an Ipsy Glam Bag post without a face mask!!! This box’s mask is the AHAVA Hydration Cream Mask. Infused with Dead Sea water, this mineral-rich mask helps brighten and hydrate your skin while drawing out impurities. You can wear this mask once or twice a week for 3-5 minutes and rinse, or wear it to sleep and rinse in the morning. I have not tried it yet, but it does have a fresh scent, and I’ve used AHAVA products before and I’ve enjoyed them so I have high hopes that it will be just as good. This mask retails for $33 USD.
